History Of  The Koshinkan

The oldest Martial Arts School In The Fallon, NV Area

Professor Shipley, after receiving permission from his Sensei, Professor Herb LaGue, started the Koshinkan dojo in Fallon, NV in 1994.  At this time the dojo was located upstairs at a local fitness center and then moved to the Churchill County Parks and Recreation.

The above picture is from up-stairs in a fitness center located on Industrial Way in Fallon, NV.  At the time it was a shared room and, yes, that is Professor Shipley with the mullet and mustache.
The top picture is a student promotion held in the Churchill County Parks and Recreation dojo site, as well as, Sensei putting the hurt on someone.

After building up a good student base at the Parks and Recreation, the dojo was moved into its own building at 195 E. Center St, Fallon, NV and was there for the next 21 years.
